"Northern Cardnial"

We have a lot of cardnials here in Ohio.

You can see them daily in the trees, around yards and bird feeders.

Last fall I had a male and female that came to my yard

each evening about dusk. I would make sure I had placed

some sunflower seeds in a certain spot by the birdbath.

I would sit quietly on the patio and sure enough here they'd come.

They did not seem afraid of me at all.

I think cardinals sound beautiful and are so enjoyable to observe.

They are my favorite birds!

I just got this new note card done in time for the winter season.

I was able to design this painting from some wonderful photos that

my sister-in-law took while visiting out west. I added in the train / tracks,

and purposely left some white area of snow so that I could add

words for use as a greeting card if desired.

"Sleigh Ride"

Let's take a step back in time and just imagine

ourselves living in a small town where everyone enjoyed

walking down the streets to visit with their friends and neighbors, singing carols

and just celebrating this beautiful winter holiday season together.

What a delightful time that must have been!

What a great dog!!!

I was asked to create this beautiful home portrait and

then turn it into holiday greeting cards.

We were quite pleased with the way it turned out.

This was such a big project - but so worth the effort!
